Care Organisations

Fishability encourages Disability Service Providers, Aged Care Providers and Special Education Centres to include our activities in the choices of recreational activity for clients. The program is offered at no cost to participants and is supported by trained volunteers. Fishability requests that participants are accompanied by carers to oversee the personal wellbeing of each individual, whilst our volunteers oversee the fishing activity and ensure a fun and enjoyable experience in both a welcoming and safe environment.

All fishing activities are at NO cost to participants. Fishability provide all the fishing equipment. Our volunteers are all police cleared and hold current Working with Children Cards.

All of our activities are SunSmart and we encourage all participants, support workers and volunteers to adhere to our SunSmart policy and wear suitable clothing for the conditions.  //fishability.org.au/policies-and-publications/.

We require participants to be a minimum of 1.2 metres high for the vessel activities and we recommend that participants are a minimum of 1.2 metres high for the jetty activities.

Please bring suitable clothing, coats and hats and enclosed shoes, for the weather conditions plus a drink and snack if you like.

Bookings are required, but don't hesitate as they fill very quickly. You will receive a SMS message 48 hours prior as a reminder.
