Di Bruce

Di has worked within the disability sector for 5 years. Her recent appointment to Fishability continues with her passion for community service; engagement of the youth and support for children and adults living with disabilities. Her love for fishing stems from her father’s passion and the love for the outdoors. Di has fond memories of many holidays spent in Kalbarri, Busselton and Albany chasing the ‘big one’ from the jetty or dinghy. Di brings to Fishability experience in governance; event and volunteer management and operations.

Jade Hurst

Jade has worked in project management in the environmental, aged care and disability sectors since 2005. She has both personal and professional experience supporting people with disabilities and has an affinity with fishing and boating due to her upbringing in the northern coastal suburbs of Perth and a childhood spent holidaying at a beach house in Rockingham. At Fishability Jade supports the volunteers: recruitment, retention and management, the day to day administration of Fishability and the development of the Program, including promotion and awareness raising within the broader community.
